Official Selection | Afterglow — San Francisco International Film Awards (SFIFA)

I’m pleased to share that Afterglow has been officially selected by the San Francisco International Film Awards (SFIFA, September 2025 edition).

As the director of this short, this selection is a meaningful encouragement. Afterglow is a quiet, restrained work that follows a woman through two farewells after her husband’s funeral. With its minimal dialogue and delicate imagery, the film reflects on the silence between loss and remembrance, and the subtle weight of emotions that remain unspoken.

I’m grateful to the SFIFA jury for including Afterglow in this year’s program and to everyone who supported the film's production.
